ADVOCACY
Our advocacy efforts are grounded in a mission to support veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the recognition, resources, and opportunities they deserve. We are dedicated to promoting initiatives that impact veterans' health, rights, career growth, community involvement, and the preservation of their legacy.
Operation Valor Health
Operation Valor Health is the Legacy Veterans Institute’s flagship campaign to promote mental and physical wellness among veterans. Through workshops, awareness events, and partnerships with healthcare providers, we address the unique healthcare challenges veterans face, emphasizing mental health support, physical wellness, and access to necessary resources.
Veterans’ Rights Watch
The Veterans’ Rights Watch initiative is dedicated to advancing veterans' rights by shaping and supporting beneficial policies. By advocating on Capitol Hill and collaborating with policymakers, we aim to expand access to education, healthcare, housing, and employment benefits, ensuring that veterans receive the full support they deserve.
Mission Career Pathways is designed to bridge the employment gap for veterans transitioning into civilian life. Through career fairs, job training, and partnerships with businesses, we empower veterans to develop new skills, secure rewarding careers, and achieve stability in civilian employment.
Mission Career Pathways
Community Strong Initiative
Our Community Strong Initiative organizes service days and volunteer projects that bring communities and veterans together. This program includes mentorship opportunities, local repair projects, and volunteer support for veterans and their families, fostering community connections and creating a supportive network.
Honor Guard Heritage
The Honor Guard Heritage program advocates for the preservation and maintenance of veterans' cemeteries and memorials across the nation. Working with local historical societies, we secure funding and organize volunteer efforts to maintain these sacred sites, ensuring that veterans’ legacies remain respected and remembered for generations.
VetNet Connections aims to create a nationwide network of veterans and their families, helping them connect with each other, find local resources, and navigate challenges through community engagement and mentorship. Through this program, we build relationships that can serve as lifelines, helping veterans form a support system that lasts beyond their service.
